Miniature Pup Training

The reason why dog lovers hold this preconceived belief that small breed puppies are more challenging to train than medium sized or larger dogs, I will never be able to know. Housebreaking a puppy, in spite of its size should never be difficult.

Small dog training, is in no way different from training a puppy dog of any other larger sized breed. Whereas training any dog will have its peculiarities, according to its breed, most all other features remain similar, and the method to training the pup should be the same, not withstanding its size.

Never the less, I will stray from the rule here, and accept that small dog training may pose issues in two facets, (1) Aggression and (2) Puppy crate training. Nonetheless, this is not because the size of the breed is small, but in all case studies, because of the owner.

If a smaller breed puppy dog is aggressive and is hard to train, or if a small breed puppy cannot be bathroom trained or poses obstacles in being bathroom trained, it is the owner who has unknowingly contributed to this dilemma. Let us analyze how and why.
