SUMOCHAM Drills

ISCAR's new SUMOCHAM drill family is an advanced evolution of the highly outstanding CHAMDRILL and CHAMDRILLJET drill families. The drill features twisted coolant nozzles with indexable drilling heads which are available in different head configurations for a range of material groups. SUMOCHAM drills can be used on milling centers or lathes.

SUMOCHAM includes four different standard drill head geometries, designed for optimum performance and high dependability. The drill head is built with a sharp cutting edge and polished flutes. SUMOCHAM drilling heads are available in the diameter range of 8 to 25.9 mm. The drill head has ground flutes for smooth, uninterrupted chip flow and a ground gash for improved penetration.

The drill shank design is in accordance to DIN 9766 standard, with obtainable drilling depth to diameter ratios of 1.5XD, 3xD, 5XD and 8xD. All drill bodies showcase coolant through holes. The accurate cylinder added to the clamping portion increases durability and decreases internal stresses. The rotation stopper planes are accurately ground, which improve the control on the drilling head position and support, increasing tool performance and life. ISCAR's innovative SUMOCHAM drill line will provide longer tool life and greater productivity.

DR-DH Deep Drills

DR-DH drills can acquire drilling depth-to-diameter ratio of 7XD and up. Engineered to be employed on standard horizontal milling centers, turning, and multi-task machines. Two versions will be available:
